Meet Pete Grant, RN, BS
Founder, Legal Nurse Consultant & Case Strategist
With over two decades of bedside experience in critical care nursing — including years at the prestigious Mayo Clinic Hospital — Pete Grant brings unmatched clinical insight and strategic clarity to complex medical-legal cases.
Pete began his career in patient care in the early 2000s, rising through the ranks as a Certified Nursing Assistant, ICU Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, and Rapid Response Team leader. He has held leadership positions in both large metropolitan hospitals and regional facilities, managing intensive care units, supervising hospital-wide operations, and supporting high-risk patient populations in medical, cardiac, neuro, and intensive care units.
Pete’s tenure at Elite Medical Experts enhanced his expertise in case strategy, including responsibilities such as conducting initial case intakes, identifying and vetting witnesses, and formulating strategic approaches.
As a seasoned legal nurse consultant and expert witness, Pete combines deep clinical knowledge with exceptional communication skills.
He has worked on both plaintiff and defense cases, assisting attorneys in developing strong litigation strategies through case consultations in:

Pete’s experience includes post-operative cardiac surgery, ECMO, sepsis and shock, mechanical ventilation, PACU, and advanced neurological monitoring — giving him the ability to spot nuances and deviations in the nursing standard of care that many others miss.
